For those interested in this case, there is a new article in Texas Lawyer about In the Matter of H.V. It has comments from not only myself, but also the two main prosecutors on the case as well as Professor George Dix from U.T. I found the professor's comments interesting. He contends the court reached the right result, but for the wrong precedental reasons. I'm not sure I agree with the professor. I'll look more into later. The article is here.
