I Would Rather Be A Solo

Upon the highrise of which some are prone
Bound by the chains of overhead and debt
I know that I am bound to work alone.

From the commute which leave one feeling like a drone
Along all of the miles that make you fret
I know that I am bound to work alone.

When the lack of money leaves you feeling stoned
When the cases you took were not a safe bet
I know that I am bound to work alone.

And, when success is fleeting and postponed
Because of the staff you have come to regret
I know that I am bound to work alone.
