RIP Pat

I got in to criminal defense work and the fight of the little guy vs. the big guy thanks in large part thanks to my Aunt Pat. Today Pat was laid to rest in Norristown, PA. Few beyond family, friends, and those at Johnny’s likely noticed her passing. I looked for her funeral hymn online but couldn’t find it on the web. In its place a little something from the Pogues, “Body of an American,” which for some reason I couldn’t get out of my head all day. more after the jumpMy hope in posting is that perhaps somewhere, somehow this post will be picked up and stored by someone somewhere. On the night when world attention is focused on the Pope, the needle, & a debate in Philly, I thought I owed to Pat for a small little remembrance of her life.continue to full post
