McCain Girls are a Hoax

Wow. This is depressing. The McCain Girls aren't really staunch McCain supporters, but working for a group partly owned by the Huffington Post.

Slate takes HuffPo to task for not revealing their connection to the McCain Girls before promoting them.

Huffington has every right to advertise its own product?Slate does it with SlateV every day?but it needs to make clear where the content is coming from.

I really liked the McCain girls. Even if they were low rent, I thought they had character. This is sad.
