: Legal Pad | LASpector's attempt to remove judge denied by appellate panel

A state appellate panel denied Phil Spector's attempt to remove Superior Court Judge Larry Fidler from his murder retrial, the Associated Press reported. Spector claims Fidler was biased in the first trial. Fidler rejected a defense motion last month to remove himself - refuting the bias claim and writing that the motion was untimely.
