FOI statistics July-Sept 2007

The central government quarterly FOI monitoring statistics for July to Septemeber 2007 have been published by the Ministry of Justice. The statistics show that the number of requests fell significantly:

"The 7,580 requests across all monitored bodies received in the third quarter of 2007 is 8 per cent fewer than the 8,209 received during the corresponding quarter of 2006, and is the lowest quarterly total since implementation of the Freedom of Information Act."
