OCLC stellt den Dienst ein (wir berichteten letzes Jahr darüber), freut sich aber über die durch dieses Experiment erhaltenen wichtigen Erfahrungen. Das ist genau die richtige Einstellung, wie ich finde. The conclusion of the Ask4Stuff experiment

What we also learned, though, was that while people found the Ask4Stuff service very interesting, in the long run it wasn’t deemed to be sufficient as a standalone service. It wasn’t “sticky” in consumer terms.
