Former Space Shuttle scientist promoted to partner at Fulwider Patton

Fulwider Patton promoted patent attorney Michael Moffatt to partner at their Long Beach office.

Moffatt focuses on patent prosecution and litigation in the mechanical and electromechancial arts and medical devices. He is on the board of advisors for the California State University Regional Technology Center and a member of the their mentoring committee.

From 1986-1992, Moffatt was a scientist at Rockwell International's Space Division, analyzing the Space Shuttle fuel system structural integrity and plume heating effects.    

Fulwider adds former Sony project manager as associate

Kenneth Cheney joined Fulwider Patton as an associate.

Cheney was an electrical and computer engineer at TRW Space & Technology, PacifiCare, and most recently, Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Cheney focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications.
