The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 1,700 full-face diving masks due to a product defect that could cause a diver to drown. Manufactured by Undersea Systems International Inc., the company said “the purge assembly on the diving mask can disengage from the regulator, resulting in loss of air to the diver.” The firm has received on report of problems with a mask, but no injuries resulted. |
