Standing Up For Indiana

Some 25,000 people are expected to rally at the state Capitol in Indianapolis today to stand up for Indiana’s middle class and oppose Gov. Mitch Daniels’ anti-worker agenda. The rally is one of five rallies planned between March 8 and March 15 to intensify efforts to defeat more than 30 laws under consideration in the state legislature. The legislative package includes bills that slash public school budgets, defund women?s health care and eliminate public-sector unions.
