April 5th is National Pet Tag Day: Discounts and Amnesty!

From Washington County Animal Services:

National Pet Tag Day is Saturday, April 5. For the first time ever Animal Services will offer half-price dog licenses and waive dog license late fees. Pet microchips, rabies shots, and distemper shots for dogs or cats will cost only $10 each or three for $25. These specials are available from 10 am to 2 pm on the day of event only. This event is at the Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter at 1901 SE 24th Avenue, Hillsboro?. In Washington County, here?s the media release.

Call your own county?s animal services department to find out if they too are celebrating Pet Tag Day.
