Why is there a warrant?
I had a bad check turned over to the DA, The DA sent me a letter on how to pay, make restitution, etc., I paid it and followed all instructions, I received a receipt from the DA stating it had been paid, a month later I get a post card from a local constable stating I have a warrant out for me. What is going on? Is this a criminal offense? The Bad check was for $29 but after fees, restitution etc I paid $74.00,Why after paying the DA Bad Check division would there be a warrant issued for my arrest? Why would the local constable send me a post card stating so and to make contact instead of just coming to my home and arresting me? Very confues. Dallas Texas
