I am filing a Pro Se motion to stop a sheriff's sale of my home. What are some good reasons I can use to get this to happen?


The mortgage is ten months behind. I started making monthly payments again this year, but stopped again when an attorney told me that wouldn't do any good. (The bank accepted these payments.) I just would like a two to three month extension as I am looking at different re-mortgage options as well as borrowing the money from a family member to cure the money owed.
The problems started with a wife in the hospital and then a job loss. Both of these problems no longer exist. Any thoughts or comments would be extremely helpful.
