Does a notarized document supersede a court ruling?

My daughters father and I signed a fifty-fifty agreement for a daughter. We went and had it notarized. Then later on his mother took me to court for custody and I was given sole custody of my daughter. Now he is threatening to take me to court for custody of our child and says that since he has the notarized agrrement he will get visitation. I do not feel safe having my daughter with him if I am not there. We never did any of my daughters life fifty-fifty. She lives with me and goes to scholl and he has never helped me financially with any of her schooling.
