A registrar is an official keeper of records, and may refer to:
In education:
- Registrar (academic), an official who handles student records
In civil government:
- Registrar General, responsible for the registration of births, deaths and marriages in England and Wales
- Registrar General of Canada, responsible for registering all documents issued under the Great Seal of Canada
- Registrar of Companies, for England, Wales & Scotland, deals with all document filings relating to the 1985 Companies Act
- Recorder of deeds, the government office tasked with maintaining a record of real estate ownership
In church government:
- Registrar (Church of England), an official serving on either the Consistory Court or the Chancery Court
In medicine:
- Specialist registrar, a medical doctor in the UK receiving advanced training in a specialist field
