#Madoff Comes Clean-Demands Trial

ADVERTISEMENTS

I'm ready to cooperate-please contact the Feds That Can't Indict Right and let them know I've changed my mind.
Ideally, you can petition the court for a trial. If that means DOJ would have to introduce a new charge (jaywalking?)--so be it. As long as it gives me the opportunity to introduce into the record what really happened, that's what I want.

Also--send a note over to the idiot reporters at NY Post and tell them the story the ran on Wed re: "market in Madoff claims has collapsed 20 pts+" is 100% wrong. The source they referenced was lying through his teeth--the claims market has actually upticked in past several months, and rose 10% after the Wilpon-Picard settlement.

How do I know? Because Barbara (Picower) has maintained a 70 bid with multiple real brokers to accumulate claims, and has watched trades take place higher, all thanks to some smart-ass former Goldman people operating a hedge fund up in CT. In fact, smaller claims are now trading 80 bid--contrary to what the Post reporters reported as "bids are now closer to 50 cents on the dollar". Could be the reporter has Aspergers?

Also-send a congrats note over to Nan's lawyer, Mo and tell him I said "its always better to be lucky than smart." Someone would think the prosecutors that have been going after the little people from my firm will now be subject to misconduct sanctions for failing to share Dimes' testimony with the defense attorneys.
