Auch über 30 Jahre nach der Flucht aus Kalifornien muss der in Frankreich lebende Oscarpreisträger Roman Polanski noch immer mit seiner Festnahme rechnen, sollte er jemals wieder in die USA reisen.

Die Staatsanwaltschaft des Superior Court im Landkreis Los Angeles (Kalifornien) forderte Polanski nach einem Bericht der “New York Times” vom Mittwoch auf, sich der Justiz zu stellen und die seit 1977 ausstehende Urteilsverkündung in seinem damaligen Prozess wegen Beischlafs mit einer Minderjährigen vor Ort anzunehmen. Erst dann könne er Einspruch gegen das Verfahren erheben und dessen Schließung beantragen.
