Todos estamos bastante conmocionados estos días por la terrible catástrofe acontecida en Haití, un país cuya economía es la más pobre de todo el continente americano y una de las más desfavorecidas del mundo, donde el 80% de su población vive bajo el umbral de pobreza.
A través de esta entrada sólo quisiera hacerme eco de una iniciativa de Google para ayudar a mitigar los efectos devastadores del terremoto de magnitud 7,3 en la escala Richter, que el pasado 12 de enero asoló el país. En la página creada al efecto se ofrecen métodos inmediatos para donar a través de UNICEF o CARE, así como enlaces a otros muchos sitios para hacer donaciones, webs con información de última hora, teléfonos de contacto de hospitales de Haití, etc.
Os animo desde aquí a realizar un donativo.
